Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your TradeSlides account and what happens to your data. TradeSlides is a marketplace platform connecting customers with tradespeople.

Delete your account in the app

You can delete your account at any time from within the TradeSlides mobile app:

  1. Open the TradeSlides app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm and enter your password to verify it is you.

Your account and personal data are then deleted. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app, email privacy@tradeslides.co.uk from the email address registered to your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify your identity and process the request.

What data is deleted

When you delete your account, we remove:

  • Your account and profile (name, email, phone number, bio, gallery photos, and verification details)
  • Jobs you posted and their details
  • Messages you sent
  • Your swipes and expressions of interest
  • Reviews you wrote
  • Your notifications

What we may keep

We may retain a minimal amount of information where we are legally required to, or for security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or accounting purposes. Any personal data we retain is removed or anonymised within 30 days where practical.
